Subsistence Allowance
- COAS and VISC may receive a monthly subsistence allowance:
- Receive an invitation letter from the group secretariat with details on the presence at CERN and the subsistence amount.
- A maximum of 6 monthly subsistence payments is granted.
- TRNE (1 to 6 months) and CHILD receive a monthly subsistence:
- Receive the contract from HR indicating the start and end dates.
- CHILD are entitled to one single subsistence payment (4 weeks at CERN).
Note: If the start or end date of the contract does not coincide with the beginning or end of a calendar month, the monthly subsistence amount will be calculated on a pro-rata basis.

Procedure
- First, people must ensure that their local address and bank details are correctly updated in EDH.
- BE Central launches the subsistence claim.
- Claims Office reviews and approves the claim.

FAQ
REVOLUT can be accepted as long as the account holder is the person receiving the payment. However, please note that the IBAN must not start with CH.
