FAQ
For the following Members of Personnel, visa documentation and card creation is handled by HR:
- Staff,
- Graduates,
- Students,
- Trainees
For the following affiliated members, BE Central takes care of drawing up visa documentation (which the person concerned then must trade in for cards if working at CERN more than 55%) whilst creating their affiliation contract:
- PJAS
- COAS
- VISC
- USER (if invited by BE)
Given the time to write the letter and covention d’accueil/note verbale and have the necessary documents stamped and sent to the person concerned in order for them to go to the relevant consulate in their home country, extra time is necessary to better plan their time in the region, their work and for the GAO to anticipate the subsistence to be paid.
